XL Hoops Basketball

The XL Hoops Instructional Basketball Program is designed for boys & girls ages 7-9, 10-12 & 13-14.

Players will work on developing technical basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing forms & teamwork.  Fun games and scrimmages are used to incorporate the skills learned in every class.


Each season consists of 8 classes.

Times and Dates:

Saturdays starting, January 29th, 2022-March 26th, 2022

**Bye Week: February 5th!**

7 - 9 years old: 9 - 10 am

10 - 12 years old: 10 - 11 am

13 - 14 years old: 11 am - 12 pm

Cost: $145.00 per player

The XL Hoops Basketball IQ Program is designed for boys & girls ages 10-13 & 14-17.


Players will work on developing various skill sets in preparations for club level basketball play. Drills will focus on offense, defense, lateral movements, passing, shooting, re-bound control, follow up, team communications, advanced dribbling techniques and more! Scrimmaging amongst their fellow players will also help reinforce and prepare for more competitive level play. XL Hoops Basketball IQ is club neutral and makes great auxiliary training for club players!

Jordan Ingram: Basketball Director

Ingram is beginning his first year as the Basketball Director at XL Sports- Hatfield. Prior to his arrival at XL Sports, Ingram coached at the high school and collegiate levels.

This season, Ingram served his first season as the Boys Basketball Coach at Overbrook High School. The previous four years, he worked on the staff at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. This included serving as the Interim Head Coach during the 2020 campaign.

He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Archbishop Carroll HS, as an assistant coach under his former head coach, Paul Romanczuk, in 2008 before serving as an assistant again in 2011. Players coached included: Derrick Jones Jr. (Miami Heat), Juan’ya Green (Hofstra; overseas), D.J. Irving (Boston University; overseas).

In 2010, Ingram was an assistant coach at Harriton High School, where he led the Rams to their fourth-straight District I playoff appearance. He then spent one season as an assistant coach at Solebury School, helping mentor guard Blake Bozeman (Morgan State) and led the Spartans to a berth in the Pa. Independent Schools State Tournament.

From 2013-2015, Ingram was the lead assistant at Mercer County Community College. In Ingram's three seasons, he helped the Vikings to three straight playoff appearances, an NJCAA Top-15 ranking and two Region XIX Finals appearances. A tireless recruiter, he coached two NJCAA All-Americans, five All-League selections and transferred six players over to four-year colleges.

In 2016, Ingram coached at Rosemont College and was a part of a staff that reached the semifinal round of the CSAC Conference Tournament. He coached two All-CSAC selections that went on to play professionally.

A longtime basketball clinician, Ingram has worked camp at such places as Georgetown, Princeton and Pennsylvania, ScoutsFocus and The Hoop Group. Ingram was the Camp Director of the Nike Basketball Camps at Haverford College.

Ingram played collegiately at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he led the Knights to NCAA and NIT appearances in consecutive years. At Carroll, Ingram scored over 1,000 points and grabbed over 1,000 rebounds.
